Last Monday
The Lincoln Memorial was a lot more grand inside then I thought, and the statue of Lincoln was also very large. 
The Washington Monument looked very large even from a distance.
I was surprised at how many planes flew over the Lincoln Memorial.
The Vietnam War Memorial,
and the Korean War Memorial.
We also saw the White House while there were protesters down the street chanting and yelling the President's name.
Later we went to my favorite part, the Air And Space Museum.

ReplyDeleteI especially like your shot of the White House - you'd never know there were bars right in front of you! My favorite part of the trip was the Lincoln Memorial - I loved the inscription above the statue.
