This Memorial Day we went to our Cabin for the weekend. The weather was very nice and the sunrises were beautiful.
One of my favorite things to do is to ride on the four-wheeler trails.
We also went on a hike down close to the lake.
The day before we left we went in the lake, the water was a little too cold so we didn't stay in for long.
Throughout our vacation we pretty much laid around like this.
Last Tuesday we went along with Dad to his job in Norfolk Virginia. On the way we saw a naval base along with some carriers that were parked along the side.
We also saw another huge ship but we didn't quite know what it was.
It was kind of neat going into a tunnel underneath the bay.
We also drove by a really cool building.
The Lincoln Memorial was a lot more grand inside then I thought, and the statue of Lincoln was also very large. 
The Washington Monument looked very large even from a distance.
I was surprised at how many planes flew over the Lincoln Memorial.
The Vietnam War Memorial,
and the Korean War Memorial.
We also saw the White House while there were protesters down the street chanting and yelling the President's name.
Later we went to my favorite part, the Air And Space Museum.
